Freshly Squeezed Comedy is a partnership between two Minnesota-based standup comedians, Lefty Crumpet and Jesse the Shrink. We book, produce, and perform in comedy shows in different venues all over Minnesota.
How did
we get
started?
The idea for Freshly Squeezed Comedy came about in 2023. We drove down to Mason City, Iowa to co-headline a comedy show and we realized that we performed well together. Soon after, we decided to book our own shows. We spent a couple weekends driving around to different venues in the suburbs of the Twin Cities, hoping anyone would be interested. Soon, we had 5 shows booked at 5 different venues in the first half of November. We brought in some of our favorite headliners and features from the Minnesota comedy scene. We spent the first few months working out the kinks, and streamlining our production process, and In 2024, we officially filed for an LLC.

Mission
We realized that we had the power to contribute something meaningful to the comedy industry with our vision. We pride ourselves on paying our comedians generously, and providing quality productions for our audiences. In creating this business, we wanted to create opportunities not just for ourselves, but for the comedians that we believe the comedy world needs more of.
